Session synopsis: 
Selected delegates get the opportunity to pitch their work using the LTB e-poster platform which will be allowed up to three slides and a total of 5 minutes to present their work and take questions from the panel and delegates.

The session aims to encourage wide dissemination of their work presenters will speak to their e-poster and encourage delegates to visit their work to find out more. This session focuses on TEL (Technology Enhanced Learning) and Student Selection.

Dr. Carlos M. Serrano graduated as a dentist (DDS) from the University of Concepción in Chile in 2004. He obtained his master's degree in medical education (MMedEd) in 2010 and completed his specialty in Prosthodontics (MClinPros) in 2012. In 2023, he received his PhD, with research focused on the applications of extended reality (XR) and digital dentistry in dental education.

Since 2015, Carlos has been a member of ACTA’s Digital Dentistry department, where he specializes in the development and integration of digital technologies into dental education and patient care. He has also been actively involved in the Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE) since 2015, contributing to the international advancement of digital dentistry education. His work with ADEE includes developing and promoting initiatives that enhance the integration of emerging digital technologies into dental curricula, as well as collaborating with international institutions to improve dental education standards.

Carlos is also actively involved in research and dental education, particularly at the intersection of digital dentistry and extended reality, with a focus on reshaping the future of dental education and clinical practice.

María José Atenaas Godoy

Graduated as a dentist in 2019 in Chile, María José joined ACTA full-time in 2022. Passionate about digital dentistry, she enjoys exploring the intersection between patient care and cutting-edge technology—whether it's mastering CAD tools, testing new chairside workflows, or pushing the boundaries of XR simulation.

She is part of the University of Amsterdam’s Education Research Fellows Programme, where her current research focuses on the role of extended reality in developing clinical skills. Since 2024, she coordinates a fourth-year dentistry course at ACTA, where students dive into digital workflows and hands-on clinical practice—often on the same day.

Patricio Jose Rodriguez Pozo

Patricio Rodriguez graduated as a dentist from the University Finis Terrae in Chile in 2018. Since 2022, Patricio has been part of the Digital Dentistry department at ACTA, where he focuses on the development and integration of new technologies in dental education and clinical practice. He serves as Digital Dentistry & CAD-CAM clinical Fellow also contributing to research in the field.
