Welcome to Day One of ADEE 2025 Dublin

We look forward to welcoming so many of you to Day 1 of ADEE 2025 on Wednesday. By now you will probably have already explored some of Dublin and have seen first-hand some of what it has to offer us.

Wednesday is our first full day of programme and below you can find some key highlights to keep an eye out for:

Our meeting venue for the main conference is The Trinity Business School 182 Pearse St, Dublin 2, D02 F6N2. This is the site for all academic, Plenary, Exhibition and non social events.

The fun run sets off from in front of town hall at 07:30 so those planning on taking part who have pre registered please check your inbox for more details or visit in this page.

Onsite registration opens at 08:00 and we will be serving some morning coffee and light refreshments for those of you who arrive early in the Exhibition hall.

Opening ceremony and plenary session one: Reimagining oral health professionals’ education

The ADEE 2025 Dublin opening ceremony features the plenary speaker and Dental Educators Awards, with delegates seated by 15:50. Prof Richard Watt will share insights from The Lancet Commission on Oral Health, a global collaboration tackling systemic neglect of oral diseases. The Commission’s priorities include governance, equity, health system reform, and addressing commercial influences. This session invites reflection on how rapid global changes are reshaping oral healthcare education. Don't miss the Early Career Educators 2025 Awards and The Haleon Preventative Oral Health in Society Award.

The ADEE President and ADEE Board invite you to join us for our opening social event for ADEE 2025.

Reconnect with colleagues in the historic 19th century Boardroom and College Hall of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, overlooking St Stephen’s Green. This landmark, marked by bullet holes from the 1916 Rising, offers a unique backdrop for a relaxed evening of networking. Enjoy light refreshments and a drinks reception, kindly supported by Planmeca.
