The Association of Dental Education in Europe (ADEE), the European Dental Students’ Association (EDSA), and Henry Schein are pleased to announce an opening of the call for the 2026 presentation of the Oral Health Educators’ Awards. These awards strive to recognise, reward, and reflect the impactful contributions dental schools and societies are making toward sustainable practices as well as toward meaningful social responsibility and how they were able to drive change. ADEE GED Stakeholders Call on EU Commission for Action in the Copenhagen Declaration on Dental Undergraduate Education
ADEE and its partner stakeholder organisations have issued a call to action to the EU commission to enable change in the undergraduate training of dental graduates. In recent years the stakeholders have been working more closely to attain a consensus opinion on the training of dentists, the quality of programmes and the mobility of students. The Copenhagen Declaration goes in some way to summarise this consensus and the need for change. Read more here.
Invitation to contribute to the EFCD survey in relation to teaching of Deep Margin Elevation
The European Federation of Conservative Dentistry is calling for educators to comment on ideas around the teaching and clinical supervision of deep margin elevation. The GED taskforce are assisting EFCD in collecting educator views to better-inform the consensus view around teaching these important clinical skills. You are invited to complete the short survey here - even if you don't teach the clinical or skills lab stages yourself. |
