Session synopsis:
Leadership for the Future: Designing a Leadership Programme for Senior Leaders in European Dental Education

This in-person session invites current European dental school deans, heads of departments, and accompanying senior leaders from their institutions to contribute to the development of a leadership programme for aspiring dental leaders. Working in small groups, participants will use the FEHDD competency framework to explore its implications for developing future dental leaders. The workshop will include a structured self-assessment using the FEHDD competences and activities to identify critical themes, topics, and delivery methods with the aim of co-designing the elements of the programme’s content and structure. The session is designed to be collaborative, engaging, and insightful, resulting in both collective input and personal reflection. Participants will leave having provided guidance to ADEE about the direction of the programme as well as having gained insights into their own leadership development needs.
